For example when we decided to enter the aerospace and defence market we were advised that we needed to have AS9100 accreditation. Because of our already robust quality systems, we were able to swap our TS16949 audit for the AS9100 audit and passed with flying colours in under a month, compared to the average six months it normally takes manufacturers to reach this demanding standard.
